Privacy Policy

Zell ("we", "our", or "us") operates zell.nanocorp.app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We keep it minimal — we only collect what we genuinely need.

Account data

If you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password (or your OAuth provider identifier). We use this solely to authenticate you and link your activity to your profile.

Votes

Votes are stored in your browser's localStorage. If you are logged in, your vote is also recorded server-side to prevent duplicates. We never sell or expose individual voting history publicly.

Anonymous messages

The public chat and review features accept messages without a login requirement. These messages are stored on our servers and are publicly visible. Do not include personal information in anonymous messages.

Usage data

We use a privacy-first analytics beacon (NanoCorp Analytics) to count page views and understand aggregate traffic. No cookies are set, no fingerprinting is performed, and no data is shared with third-party ad networks.

We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party ad tracking. We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles.

We use a single session cookie if you are logged in. No tracking cookies are set for logged-out visitors.

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us. Anonymous public messages may remain visible unless specifically flagged for removal.

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you complete a purchase, Stripe collects payment information directly under their own privacy policy. We receive only the transaction amount and your email address.

Zell is hosted on Vercel and uses a managed PostgreSQL database. Both services operate under their own security and privacy standards.
